DNA sexing is the only sure way to tell the gender. You can guess by looking at a few things-males tend to have their tail feathers in a rounded shape while females like theirs straight across. Males also are much more vocal and brightly colored. This is only a guess at the gender, so if you want to know 100%, you'll have to get it DNA tested.
