Hi there,

I have a pair of plumheads that are breeding. They are throeing the egss out of the nest box when the baby is almost completely formed. Why?

Hello Carmen and thank you for your post.

The research that I've done before answering this question is the same thing that I thought of when I first recieved your email, and that is that there is something wrong with the babies.  It could be a defect or a disease, but the mother bird has instincts that tells her if something is wrong with the baby before it is hatched.
