odd cockatoo behavior

My cockatoo, Sammi, has recently started to scare me with this new strange behavior.  Sammi looks like she is trying to regurgitate food for me, she sticks her throat out and shutters her whole body almost looking like she is convulsing.  She has tried to feed me before and it never looked like this, she does this for about a minute and it is beginning to scare me.  Should I be worried?

The regurgitation behavior can certainly take people by surprise and it can look like a seizure can't it?
 When this starts with our girls, we just tell them in a calm voice, "that's not necessary" and then turn your back.

As long as she's eating normally, her droppings are healthy and all other activities are as usual, there's probably nothing more going on than her trying to bond and display mating behavior.
