Baby Afican Grey

Hi Rev. I traded my yellow headed amazon for a baby grey, the guy said he was 1 year he thinks? Romeo (african Grey) steps up and makes baby noises and is very tame, he has all his feathers except behind his legs his rear area is all down, how do you tell how old his is (a round about)?

From what you describe he's not quite a year old, but probably close.
 I strongly suggest that a vet see him before he actually "needs" a vet - have the usual well bird check up and always, always have the genetic testing done for any diseases that will save you a lot of problems throughout his life (and tell whether he's a he or a she, for sure).
