parrot question

Ive had a military macaw for 2 weeks now. she has taken to me better than anyone in the house. she recently started puking up her food then sometimes eats it. she bobs her head up and down then vomits. she mostly does it when im sitting next to her talking to her. could i be making her nervous even though she doesnt show it or could she be sick? could she possibly be offering her food to me? haha

Actually that is exactly what she is doing, for the most part birds do not vomit when they are sick, this is called regurgitating like she would be feeding a mate. There is a good possibility though since she has so obviously bonded to you that she will be aggressive towards other members of the family. I would highly advise joining this forum and getting more information by talking to other macaw owners who have dealt with the same issue.
