parrotlet male bird

Question
I bought a Parrotlet this week,the fist two days home.He would let me hold him with no problem.Now when i try to hold  him all he want to do is bit me.What am I doing wrong?

I don't know that you are doing anything wrong.  Did you buy a tame parrotlet (one that was handfed as a baby)?  If not, your bird is most likely not tame.  What I recommend you do is allow your bird to settle down in its new environment and allow your bird to get used to you.  This could take a week or it could take a month or longer, depending on the individual bird and how you interact with it.  If you are literally "holding" your bird, don't do this.  Most birds don't like to be held around their bodies.  You need to build trust with your bird before you try to do anything with s/he, depending on how tame (or not) your bird is.
