my sun conure

Hi, my name is Katie and I have had my sun conure for about a year and a half and is such a neat bird my family loves her! Today I came home from a movie and dinner and was standing in the kitchen to hear my daughter laughing at the bird because she had her beak in between a bar in the cage and moving her head from side to side, she was doing it really fast i didn't know what to think. I had went outside for a quick moment to get something out of my truck to come back in the house to my bird screaming and was at the bottom of the cage freaking out on its back with its wings spread open and she acted like she couldn't get up i tried helping her but she wouldn't let me do anything, I finally got her calmed down and she is in her tent resting but i am really worried about her. Did she just shake herself so hard she could have rattled her little brain to have caused this behavior or should i take her to a vet and have her checked out? Any advice would be really helpful, thank you!

I would take her to the vet to have her checked out just in case because that does sound abnormal. I have seen birds move their beak across the bars and that is not unusually. I think to be on the safe side she should see the vet for a check up and explain what happened to them.
