blue and gold macaw/fell off perch and her foot is balled up

my female blue and gold macaw fell off her perch last night and now she is having trouble with perching and there seems to be no strength in her legs in general. she has fallen like this before and has always recovered within minutes to a few hours. i have been told that it could be seizures, she is an old bird, not sure the exact age since she was a rescue. her foot balled up as well for a few minutes, she is breathing a bit heavy and i am not sure if that is because she keeps trying to steady herself on her perch and is having a hard time. she is eating the food i offer her and drinking water and is acting otherwise normal. what can i do?

Then, what is the base diet?  What this means is do you feed a seed blend for parrots or a pellet base diet?

Now, be specific and be honest with this one too:  What fresh foods, if any?

How about nuts?  

I'm pretty sure I know what's going on and there IS hope for her, but I need as many details as possible.

Also, how sure of her sex are you?  Was she ever DNA checked or has she laid eggs?
