My pet luckie still has an itch near its ear and its has no feathers there ,the vet checked luckie and did a skin scrapping and found nothing he said it could be stress what can I do to help her, someone not a vet told me to put a little aloe vera on it straight from the plant will this help or harm her

Hi, Miriam.  Thanks for posting!

If it's stress related, you need to identify and eliminate the source of the stress in order to fix the problem.

Aloe vera straight from the plant won't hurt your bird, but I'm not sure it will help if the problem is stress related.

Did the vet check for any type of ear problem?  If the bird is scratching near its ear, it could mean an ear infection or something like this.  Also, poor diet can be a factor in birds who are losing feathers...what kind of diet is your bird on?

Answer
Hi again, Miriam.

You don't say whether the vet checked for an ear problem.  If this problem were diet or stress related, it seems your bird would be losing feathers in more places than just near the ear.  This is why I'm wondering if it could be an ear problem, since the bird is scratching in this area.

If the vet you went to was not an avian veterinarian, this vet may not know what to look for in birds.  Therefore, I'd advise you to get your bird to an avian vet...not a cat/dog vet, but a vet who specializes in treating birds.
