Sun Conure and Quaker Parrot

Question
I own a Sun Conure (appox. 3-4 years old) whom we just discovered is female. She shares a cage with our 6 year old Quaker parrot (sex of which is unknown). Our Conure just started laying eggs. She is aggressive when I go to feed them, as well as our Quaker, who has become over-protective and has been seen even sitting on the eggs (6 total). Should I remove the eggs. I have read the various articles on leaving the eggs if not compromised. I don't think these different types of birds can breed. What should we do?

Answer
-- Although the eggs won't be fertile, any two birds can seem to 'breed'.

Yes, leave the eggs until they stop tending to them, about 3-4 weeks.  If any are broken, remove immediately since they have a high chance of transmitting bacterial infections.
