Do you know anything about weasels?

We have recently discovered that we have a weasel living in our retaining wall in our backyard.  He has left several dead rats in there and created quite a home.  I have children that play in the yard often and I can't seem to find much information about these animals.  We live in Washington State and I have never seen one here.

hi weasels are common here in Britain.  They are small canivores which live in burrows in trees.  They do not attack people however they deliver a powerful bite so make sure you children do not try and catch it.  They are usually timid and will stay away from humans.
