baby something or other

Yesterday I was walking on the street and I found a little baby rodent.  I don't know what it is, and neither does anyone I know.  The closest we can guess is baby rat or squirrel.  I'm going to try to raise it but I'm not sure what to do.  I've seen feed it baby milk and I've also seen help it go to the potty.  How do I do that?  And how can I feed it without a nipple on my syrenge?

Hi there, if the baby is very small you can get a hand rearing bottle with a teat from a petstore, feeding from a syringe may be too strong a flow and they can end up with milk in their lungs which is really bad. Try to feed soya milk as normal milk has lactose which rodents cant digest. You can help it pee and poo by rubbing its bottom with damp cotton wool. Rub its tummy after feeding very gently to help it digest the milk. Keep it warm as well. Good luck and dont blame yourself if anything happens, rearing orphans is always touch and go
