Question
i have a black female that is pregnant and due any day. my question is would it hurt if she was in a cage with other females or would it be best if she was alone with her babies?

Answer
Thank you for using all experts. During the time of pregnancy and birth it is always better to have your mouse in her own cage. This way she can make her nest and not stress over others being bothersome or such. Now I have had mice together that had liters but were in multi level cages before and did fine. My advice however is that if you can put her separate I believe that she will fell less stressed and be more relaxed to take care of her babies. It takes away the worry of others being in her way or disturbing her liter.

Here are some site that will give you more ideas you can look into to make the best choice for your mouse.
