Baby Mouse?

21 15:46:09

Question
My son found three blind mice. Seriously. Their eyes aren't opened yet but they have lots of fur and they have blunt snouts instead of pointed ones. They are 3 inches long not counting their tails. They are a soft bluish gray with white bellys and feet.  They I'm not sure if they are baby mice, voles, or even baby rats.  Everything I have ever saw had pointed snouts not rounded or blunt ones like these.  Can you help in identifying them?

Answer
Hi!

It's hard to comment without having seen them, but for reference here's a picture of 9 days old baby mice:

If the nuzzle seems to be blunter than in the picture above, it could indeed be a vole. Here's the only picture of the subject I was able to locate: http://www.animaladvocates.us/images/volebaby1.jpg

The colour description matches both certain types of mice as well as voles. Providing a picture would be most helpful! :-)
