Laying down

Question
I know your the expert on rats, however my question is about a guinea pig.( there were no experts on pigs and I need help) Now I'm hoping rats and pigs may display some of the same behaviors. My question is I have male guinea pig who's 8 months old. Every now and then I notice that when he lays down he lay somewhat on his side. He's not entirely flopped on his side,but he'll just lay there, until he gets bored and scampers around. Is this ok, or might he not be feeling well.

Hello Lauren,

You in luck as I keep Guinea's as well. His probably just having a rest, as they sleep for 10 mins out of every hour. But if his not eating, drinking or seems in any pain then I'd take him to the vets.
