Rat breeding

I was wondering if it was posable to crossbreed Afraicn fur rat with the common house pet rat? or if you know of it ever being done?

Answer
Their real name is Natal Multimammate Mouse. I researched for a long time and found no indication that they cross breed with other rats or mice. You best bet would be to place them together and if they breed and have babies within 21 days then you will know. I am sorry that I could not find more information.
