Caring for baby field mouse

Question
Hi,
My Boyfriend Was Weeding In A Field And Brought Home A Mouse Because He Thought It Was Injured And Wanted to Help It.

It Has Fur, Wont Eat Mouse Food/seeds, Barely Opens It Eyes, And Is Wabbly When Trying TO Walk Around. We've Been Giving It Goat Milk Through An Eye Dropper...

So DO You Think Its Just Young Or Should I Think about Taking It TO The VEt?

Answer
Hi!

Your little guy is very young and needs to be nursed. It needs kitten milk replacement. You can get that at a pet store. Until you get that you need to nurse it immediately. If you have soy milk in the house that's great. Otherwise you will have to use cow's milk, but get the kmr as soon as possible. And it is going to need nursing every two hours until it refuses to nurse! That might be in a week or a little more.

Please read the details of how to care for a baby wild mouse in the following post:

I wish the little guy good luck : ))]
