mouse boys and dad

hi my mouse has had 13 babys they are all at popcorn stage now, the dad does not live with them but i wont to keep some of the baby boys will dad get on with them? i put dad and the pups together in a cardboard box for 3 mins and they get on fine, dad cleaned the baby and sat near him but will that change as the pup gets older?

Dear Jane,

Although males usually end up not getting along, you can always try.  Litter mates sometimes don't fight.  However, don't be surprised if in the end, each boy, and dad, need their own separate cages.  Be prepared for this contingency.
