once and a while cough noises

hey lorena
im really worried about my gp  its sometimes makes this really loud cough noise like its got a hair ball or somthing and i wanted to know if it was common for my gp to make that.it only does it three times a day or somthing like that . and is it common for gp to have dandruff.plzzz tell mi soon

It's probably a cough (or possibly a sneeze) that you're hearing.  Guinea pigs do cough sometimes, and unless it seems to be very frequently, I wouldn't worry about it.  If he seems to have any other symptoms, I might take a closer look (i.e. take him to the vet) but for now, I wouldn't worry about it.

As for dandruff, yes it is common, especially in the winter.  All it is is simply dry skin.  There are a few options for treating it.  The simplest solution is to use the vitamin E that comes in caplet form at the drug store.  Simply break one open and wipe the vitamin E inside along the dry skin.
