not sure why my guinea pig is having trouble eating

Question
Tonight i let my piggy walk around in the living room while i went to put some pasta to boil i gave him a few greens to eat and i saw he ate them fine and then i went back to the kitchen and when i came to check on him again i heard him under the couch grinding something in his teeth- i couldn't see what it was but it sounded like something hard so i took him out and tried to see what it was but i couldn't. I figured it would be ground up enough and pass through his system cause it's happened before. But why i'm confused is because later when he tried to eat anything i gave him it seemed like he was having trouble, he would bite but as soon as it went to the back of his mouth to start grinding he would open his mouth and tilt his head around and try to get his front paws as if to try to get something out. Then he would spit out whatever it was he wanted to eat. And even when he didn't have food he'd start motioning as if to get something out. I was scared his throat was blocked but he is breathing fine and is "talking" normally and is also walking about and running and seems happy but when he tries to eat ANYTHING he can't so i'm not sure what's wrong. I tried opening his mouth and seeing if there's something there but i can't see that far back and i didn't feel anything when i opened his mouth either. Could it be that he scraped his throat or is there something stuck? or could he have hurt his tongue or something? i'm just scared any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hello,
I think you should take your guinea to the vet because even if it is just a scrape your guinea may not eat fro 2 weeks until it has healed and then your guinea would starve to death. Also if your guinea has something caught in his mouth he wouldn't be able to breath properly.
Best wishes
