hurt guinea pig

my son dropped our guinea pig. he is very sluggish but is moving around a little. we have two guinea pigs and the other one want leave the hurt one along is this ok or do i need to separate them? i am unsure if the guinea pig will be ok. I feel like the other one is not letting him heal.

Simple answer:
a) "do i need to separate them?", Yes this would be best for now. It is normal for a guinea pig to investigate, but it could potentiolly hurt the already hurt one.
