Guinea Pig Has Stopped Using Back legs

Our guinea pig has suddenly stopped using its back legs it is eating ok but has gone quiet is usually quite squeaks alot.  Any ideas what this could have been caused by?

Hind leg paralysis can be caused by many things. Vitamin deficiencies, mites, Scurvy, and fractures are all some things that can cause it. Also arthritis or small tumors on the spine can cause it. The first thing I would do is increase vitamins in his diet, the cause though will most likely require vet blood work. If he has any signs of hairloss or nerviousness it could simply be mites, but it is really hard to tell without seeing him in person. The first thing to do is increase vitamins, mostly vitamin E and vitamin C, other than that he needs a blood test run on him for abnormal counts. Let me know if you have any more questions.
