bananas and celery

Question
Hi, just checking to see if it's safe to feed banana's and celery stalks to guinea pigs.

Thanks,
Beth

Answer
Avoid celery, as it has no nutritional value and can give pigs diarrea. Banana is fine though, I haven't found any pigs that will eat the outer covering of the banana, but most like the inside of it. Most pigs also like green pepper, cucumber, tomato, kale, collard green, brocolli, apple, peach, pear, orange, and romaine or leaf lettuce also. Let me know if you have any more questions.
