hair loss/ also teeth seem to be too long

What can you do to help them to grow their hair back?  Also what can we do to help our Guinea pig with his teeth.  He doesn't like to chew on the chew sticks from the store and I'm not sure what else to give him.  He loves chewing on carrots however I don't think that will help his teeth.

hello, do you know why your guinea pig has hair loss? has he recently gotten over a sickness? Mange mites causes hair loss and if he was recently treated for mange mites then the best thing to do is to provide a good diet and have patience that the hair will grow back. As far as his teeth growing, if they are too long he should go to the vet and get them trimmed and provide a variety of chew treats such as the popcorn sticks for guinea pigs and the seed and nut based treats as well. What chew sticks do you have for him now? I know a lot of guinea pigs love apple wood sticks or cherry tree wood. carrots and other veggies are good but the guinea pig treats i mentioned as well as a few others you can find at pet sores are good to.
