Question
Hello. I've got a boar roughly 2 and a half years old. And a female just turned 1 year old... they've been in teh same cage now fr 9 months as i wished to breed them adn as of yet no babies? They got on great and i've never seen them fight. I've seen tehm have sex but not that offen at all. Just wondering what could be the problem or if it could eb she's in fertile or he's impotent maybe. Just i've not ever found any evidence of this being a problem for other people on forums and so forth

Answer
Hi Jessica

First of all please do not let the female get pregnant if she has never had babies before. By now her pelvic bones have fused together and she wont be able to deliver the babies. If she has had babies before please ignore this.

Also dont let the 2 breed if they are related in any way.

It may just be that the female doesnt want the male as a mate, females are sometimes quite choosy over their partners believe it or not.
