Miniature guinea pigs?

Question
My female guinea pig had two babies 60 days ago, one of the babies grew at a normal rate and was rehomed with a very loving family, the other baby (both were girls) is still very tiny, she has grown some since birth but not much.  She eats well, and feels strong and healthy, and is very sweet, but she is tiny.  Do miniature guinea pigs occur?  Are there any extra health risks I have to worry about with her?

Answer
Hello Rachel!
Hmmm, I have never heard of this. I suggest frequenting them to the vet for possible health problems and monitoring them a little closer. I suggest treating her normally and making sure she is eating and drinking right. It may be that the mother is just a larger guinea pig than normal and her daughter looks small by comparison at this stage in her life. Other than that I see no other reason to panic!
