Hamster with vaginal Bleeding

I have a question about my tiny little hamster. It is a female and shes little, shes gray and has a black stripe down her back. She lives with another hamster,another female, but I just moved her into a small cage alone with no wheel at all because my father said it is probably her period and she is best off without exercise. She is bleeding from her vagina and i was wonderng what this could be. Can you please give lots of suggestions and answers to this as I cannot afford a vet right now. Thank you , Nikki

I can't imagine it being her period. Usually the blood amount is so small it's barely visable. Also, a wheel should always be avaliable to a hamster. She needs that immidetaly. Without seeing her, i have no way of knowing what it is. I would reccomend bringing her to a vet. Good luck.
