Weird thing about my hamster.

I have an adult female hamster. She is honey brown in color. Yesterday we knowticed some comming from her butt. At first i thought it was dried poop. But on closer inspection it appears to be a worm sticking out or the inside of her instestine. I am not sure? She doesn't appear to be in any pain that i can tell but what is this? Can it be helped?

Hello, wow this is really serious. Okay was she having anything wrong with her before like having a wet bottom?? If so she probably had wettail. Take her to the vet asap. Is there any blood anywhere in the cage?? I'm hoping it's just a worm, but I really do think it may be her intestine. Hamster's intestine's look white and wiggly. Are you using pine or ceder bedding?? That also causes problems with them as well. The vet is the best thing to do for her though. Keep me posted on what happens. I'm really concerned for her and i'm praying she just might have worms.
