i love my gerbill so much and i look after her as much as i can. im always buying her them pet small house things but the thing is after a couple of days its all chewed up into tiny bits i no its in a gerbils nature to chew everything up but its  so annoying i just want her to have a house that she isnt going to chew. can u recommend anything and what shop they will be in please as i have no clue i would be very grateful if you could help me thanks

*smiles at the gerbil* the gerbil is going to chew anything you put in there. It's normal. The best thing you can do though is to buy cheap houses that you don't care if they get chewed up. *thinks for a minute* I got it!! Use tissue rolls or paper towel rolls. :-) That way you will have a unlimited supply and she can chew all she wants to without you spending tons of money. :-) My friends gerbil chews up everything he can get his paws on too. So I know what you are going through. ALso buy lots of different chew toys. Gerbils love Love LOVE wood, and I always tell my friends to buy wood from pet stores because those are made from apple trees and are good for gerbils.
