QuestionPumpkin seeds are part of the "hamster" feed I purchased recently. My newly acquired dwarf seems to like them (after I crack them a bit for her), but are they appropriate for her diet?
Thanks!
AnswerYes they are fine. Hamsters will eat a wide variety of seeds and all found in hamster food are appropriate. Just make sure you don't give her seeds/nuts labelled for people use as they are often loaded with sugars and salts which are not appropriate for hamsters.
Let me know if I can be of any more help,
Lauren
