do male hamsters fight if you put more than one hamster in the same cage for a long time and let them live together?

Answer
Hamsters are usually solitary animals.  However given the right circumstances you may be able to house more than one hamster together.  If you give them ample enough space to live and if you introduce them together into the same cage when they are very young.  Young hamsters will learn to live alongside each other but older hamsters will usually not tolerate having to share with other hamsters.  Male hamsters usually tend to be more tame than female hamsters of any breed.   

So YES male hamsters will fight if you combine them when they are older and have already had the privilege of living in their own personal home.
