Listless Gerbil

Question
When I fed my gerbils tonight I noticed that one was crouched in a corner and
was listless.  I picked her up fearing the worst but she was still alive, but her
skin was cooler than usual.  I did not notice any diarrhea in the cage and her
coat is still shiny.  Do I need to take her to the vet?

yes you should rush her to a vet as soon as possible. In the mean time try to keep her warm by using any type of cloth you can find. Try and give her water through a dropper or if you can't find any put some water on her lips so she can lap it up. You want to keep her dehydrated. Good luck and keep me posted.
