Connecting cages

Question
Hi, I love spoiling Butters my hamster. I was told by my mom when I get the money I could get Butters a new cage. Well In her current cage it has an extra hole. In the new cage I plan the same thing or at least take something out and make an extra hole. I also have an extra tube. Can I connect them or will she get confused? I want the best for her and I wanna know if it's okay if I do that.

Answer
Hi Kegan,

Sure, it's fine for you to add more parts onto your hamster's cage.  It will help keep her from getting bored, and it'll be fun for her.  When you connect extra parts, be sure to leave the main part of her cage as it is (at that time), so that it will still be familiar to your hamster.  That way, she won't get confused :)  Have fun connecting and watching your hamster enjoy her new space!

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask :)
