Sudden Death of Hamster

Dear Experts,

My 2month hamster (male), this morning suddenly found laying dead, he was playing and eating this morning. Please advise if any possible reason of sudden death for hamster. Can hamster survive a jump of 1m high ?

Hi Emily,

if your hamster has had a fall recently then it could be something to do with that, but not necessarily.

Also, you should not use the fluffy bedding which you can get from some pet shops as it is very dangerous because it can not be digested if the hamster accidentally eats it.
