Hello my name is Justin i want to ask you if black Russian hamsters chirp.I got one about four days ago and her name is rose.I do not no if she is pregnant or not but all night long i hear chirp chirp.And I'm really worried she is hurt what do i do

Hi Justin,

Hamsters can make strange noises - some make noises constantly!  but it sounds as if your hamster could have had babies as babies make a sort of chirping noise.

If you want to check you can look closely in the nest but please be very careful and if she has then please do not touch them until they are two weeks old and do not clean the cage out until they are about three weeks old.
