Question
what foods can my ferret eat other than dried food? why is my ferret sneezing and how can i help her? will she need any vacinations if takien out the house?

Answer
Hello Chilli and thank you for your questions,

You can offer canned ferrt or cnaned kitten food as a ocssinal treat or ome boiled egg or boiled chicken/liver without seasoning from time to time also. I have no idea what might be causing her snezeing and wont give out faluse information as I am Not a vetrenaerian and can not help with health questions I am sorry but i would take my ferret to a vet if it was snezeing alot. Dusty bedding might be a possible cuase if she is on shavings... take her off and put her on old clothing without button/zippers or loose strings/threads... they love this sort of bedding. Your ferret should have vaccines even if she Never leaves the house.... you can bring home viruses on your clothing or shoes that will make her very ill, Feline distemper is deadly... and isnt treatmable in ferrets but it is perventable with yearly vaccines. A rabies vaccine is the law in some states and if your ever out and about with your ferret and she bites someone she will have a much better chance of servial if she has had a recient rabies vaccine..... I have heard many horror stories of ferrets biting people and hte people who were bitten filed a report andthe ferret was removed from its home and killed for rabies testing... even thou it had a rabies vaccine... its just best to have a rabies vaccine incase it gets bitten by a wild animal while outside also. Deowrming should be done by a ferret knowlageable vet...as should all vetrneay care for your ferret, dewormings are ussally given in liquad form in the mouth... they eat it no injectables here :) its always nice to know your ferret has been dewormed and isnt spreading worms to everyone in the household. A ferret should be harrness trained and taken outdoors sometimes to enjoy the sun and fresh air as with almost any housepet... you wouldnt like to be  cramped into the house all day everyday would you? I hope this answers your questions fully if you need more information feel free to ask at any time, Take care and enjoy your little girl.
