we recently got a ferret kit
nearest dr appt is oct 3
the pet store said he was
6wks old had him 3 weeks already
what do u recommend for shots
and anything else that might help
he is a sable ferret wanted to get
another one campagne color or light
hair
been told they have a lean toward
being blind

ps we have a dog a friend gave us
1 yrs pit and boxer mix
gently and kid friendly dont know about the
ferret

SAbles can go lblind also I have seen blin sables over the net before along with every toher color, I am not sure where you heard this but I doubt it is true, a ferret needs a freidn unless you can haev him out with one on one play time for a minamum of *3 hours every single day. ever with two you will want to let them free run for at lest an hour everyday but with two they aren't so needy I have found but still enjoy playing with you. Vaccines reccomened are feline distemper and when 4/5 mnoths old rabies, three feline distemper vaccines are required to complete the set for the babies first year and one is given every year there after, Rabies is genrally given once yearly also. I have no clue about the ferrets and the dogs I also let my ferrets out with the dogs in another room just to be safe.
