ferret whiskers

Question
I was wandering if my ferret will be ok... I just realized that her whiskers are real short on both sides(like someone cut them off) and a vet I called said that there is no hope. He said also that I have to put her to sleep. I just hope that there is another solution... so any reply will help.

LOL what kind of vet did you call for heavens sakes put her alseep because her whiskers are short thats just nuts ferrets whiskers are normal not all that long anyway if this is all thats wrong do  NOT take her to this vet find another one even if it means driving an hour or two to get to a proper small animal reptible vet...if this is what you told the vet and they said put it to sleep step away from this vet and never ever call them or take your pet to them again there nuts.
