Question
i normally give my ferret bananas for treats but i want to know if he can eat oranges and apples. i didn't know till today that they ate meat... do they eat it raw or cooked? is it bad to give them seasoned meat?

Answer
Ferrets are Obligate Carnivores so no fruit or veggies!  They should eat a high protein and lo carb ferret kibble and you can offer raw or cooked chicken, rabbit etc with no seasonings.  Sugar (in fruit or sweets) leads to health issues like Insulinoma.  Check out the book Ferrets for Dummies to help with some other things you may not know about ferrets to - great book for new or experienced ferret owners!
