more than one ferret?

Question
We have been given a ferret and have been trying to rapidly come up to speed on ferret care. We try to give him plenty of attention and play time outside of his cage, but I'm unsure if he needs another ferret companion or are we enough to keep him happy?

If you are giving him adequate play time and attention, a second ferret is not necessary. But I have found that second ferrets make great companions to a single ferret, especially if I am busy or work a lot, it takes the pressure off and assures that your current ferret does not get bored or lonely. However, it's completely up to you.
