Ferrets and small dog?

I was wondering if my ferrets could be allowed out in the same room as my little dog? She loves all animals big and small I doubt she would touch them but I was wondering if the ferrets might play too rough with her.

You can try to introduce her to them slowly.  Ferrets backs are very easily broken and even your small dog could break their back.  If they get along then it should all be fine but your ferret will play with your dog just as a cat plays.  So it will depend on how your dog takes it as to if they can play together.  I would be with them at all times.
