Ferret Training and Treats

I have a ferret that is about one year old and I just started trying to litter box train him. I have a litter box that goes in the corner and he seems to use the litter box but for some reason he also uses other corners. Some times I catch him trying to use the litter box but he kind of turns and poops outside of he litter box. What should I do that fix that problem? Also I have heard Of Linatone used as a ferret treat but there is no Linatone specifically for Ferrets. Can Cat or Dog Linatone be used?

Ferrets will poop in corners, so place a litter box in all of the corners if possible.  Usually one litter box isn't enough.  They are also not cats and sometimes the litter box gets used, other times it doesn't so it isn't surprising that he sometimes misses the litter box.  Try a different shape litter box to see if that helps.  Linatone is fine for ferrets, but they make Ferretone which is specifically for them as a treat.
