White spot in throat

Question

Oska sleeping :)
My lil guy Oska has had the sniffles lately (being winter here at the mo in NZ) but seems to have got over it but I've just noticed a few days ago a little white spot down his throat when he yawns. It doesn't seem to be bothering him and he's still eating and drinking but I was wondering if you knew what it is? Also, just out of curiosity, was wondering why sometimes he will eat out of his bowl while standing over it and other times picks up the biscuits and takes them down the hall to eat them. It's not like he's hiding to eat them as the halls wide open and the cat doesn't bother him where ever he's eating...

Answer
Ferrets like to cache food, even if they don't actually do it correctly.  This is why some food gets eaten by the bowl and other food gets moved away form the bowl.  If it was something really good he would probably take it somewhere hidden to eat it.

About the spot.  I am really not sure what it could be as I am not a vet.  You will need to get it checked out by your vet.
