Hi. Do you think it's okay to use wood pellets for ferret litter? Its 100% natural, no added stuff. Thanks, Jess

Hello Jess,

I would not use wood pellet litter for two reasons. The first is it is often dusty and can cause upper respiratory problems. The second is some types can contain toxic chemicals. Depending on the wood pellet, there can be natural oils that could be dangerous to your ferret.

Have you heard of Yesterdays News? it is safe, hypoallergenic and absorptive. It can be found in nearly every pet store next to the cat litters.
