ferret breeding

i keep 7 ferrets (5 hobs and 2 jills) all together in a big hutch and they are due to come in to season soon should i separate the hobs from 1 another to prevent them fighting to death or will they be ok as they have all been brought up together since 9 weeks old, iam also breeding my 2 jills with the hobs and intend to put them in ther own bedding areas away from the hobs any extra info would be appreciated thank you

Just to be safe, I would not house the hobs together.  I have very little experience with ferret litters, but I found it best to keep the female with the kits in an area where they can be alone for a little while.  My first litter I kept them separate for a few weeks, but I didn't keep them separate the second time (unintentional) and they were fine, but my males were all neutered the second time.
