leave him in crate

I"ve 11 months yellow lab. Can i leave him inside the crate for 9 hrs? since i got job in downtown.Can he stay?

He should be fine, Harini. He is old enough that he ought to be able to hold it that long, as long as you make sure to take him out and let him go to the bathroom before you put him in the crate. I like to also give them something to gnaw on or play with so they don't get bored. Nylabones are a good choice (get the absolute biggest one he can handle, to prevent him from breaking off and swallowing large chunks), as are Kong toys. I do not recommend rawhides.
