Crate training isnt working

Question
I recently found a stray dog on the streets and decided to keep him. When I first left him in the house, he didn't pee/poop in the house. Then all the sudden, he started to poop in certain areas of the house so naturally, I put him in a crate while I was out and he didn't pee/poop. Then about a month of having him, I moved to another place and all the sudden he started to pee everytime I leave him in the house and sometimes he would even poop.

How can I break him of this habit?

Hi Rachel,

It appears that crate training worked at your previous home. Dogs will often not associate one behavior with a different environment. I'd suggest you use the crate again in your new home until your dog again becomes potty trained. Also be sure that you clean up his accidents with a pet specific cleaner that eliminates all odor.
