Question
We have a female boxer puppy 8 weeks old, she only had 1st shot, she will have the second shot in 4 weeks. We have a small front yard which we took her to do her business everyday.  we are trying to potty-train, crate train, and command "Sit". We just try to do our best to prepare her for everything. So far, it has been ok, but she always bites & nips (corrections - not yet success), she doesn't go on leash. Because she's only got the first shot so we can't take her to the park to socialize with other dogs. We have all sorts of toy for her in her pen, but I can see that she gets bored very fast. What can we do to get her tired and just to get rid of her energy? Your advise is greatly appreciated.

Answer
She's only 8 weeks old, still too young for puppy kindergarten, too young to expect that she will be potty trained, she has an attention span of 10 seconds right now and her energy level will be increasing through adolescence. I would lower your expectations for an 8-week-old puppy. Keep playing with her interactively, switch toys around and she will rest when she needs to. It's never easy with a puppy!

Good luck,
