boxer puppy legs

Question
My boxer puppy is 8 weeks old.  Perfectly healthy but I am concerned about his feet.  His front legs are really bandy, If it were a human it would be from our wrists.  They go inwards and look painful.  He isn;t in pain but they look so sore.  He was the biggest in the litter and he is a crumper so could it be he is top heavy.  I took him to the vet and they said it should strengthen in time but can anyone tell me if this is normal. He is okay if he has slept for a while then they are straight but if he has walked on them for a bit that is when they go all bendy.  Please advise.

Answer
Dogs have in early development cartiladge that later becomes bone. I am not expert in this breede to say if your dog is normal or not without photos or physical exam, so I would follow your vets advice. You might inquire if bandage braces would be appropriate or helpful until the skeletal development advances. My Bassets were a little this way when puppies and gre out of it about 12-14 weeks old.
