Lab getting on counter

Question
My dog is a lab and she is 15 months old.  She continues to get up on the counters when we are not looking and when we are gone for the day.  I do not know how to stop the behavior.  She knows that she did wrong and will go into her crate when we tell her she is bad.  How do I stop this?  Please help!

cover the counter with metal dog dishes or other stuff that will fall but not make a mess, and make a lot of noise. Whenthe dog jumps up, stuff goes crashing and the dog jumps down. After a few episodes the dog learns not to jump on the counter becuase it makes a bad noise. You can use spoons, and dull knives that clatter but don't pose a hazard tot he dog. measuring cups, large serving pieces.
